regates

As announced in the last couple of weeks, the Regatta is back this year and will be held this Saturday, August 5 !

*In case of rain, the Regatta will take place the following day, Sunday August 6*

REGATTA SCHEDULE

11 AM TO 3 PM – BEACH ACTIVITIES ON THE SHORES OF LAKE TREMBLANT

  • Regatta beach location

As in previous years, the event kicks off with a number of beach activities on the shores of lake Tremblant.

On location, please note that parking on the beach is limited, therefore, as in years past, if citizens can boat ride together or get dropped off on site, this would be very helpful.

  • Regatta beach activities

As in previous years, the Regatta beach activities will be starting at 11 AM, hot dogs (and veggie hot dogs) will be served over lunch.

The municipality would really appreciate anyone who could bring their canoes to the event, by either dropping them off to the Regatta beach or bringing them along when going to the beach.

Additionally, as we are trying to be as environmentally friendly as possible, please bring refillable water bottles with you to the event if you have one. We will have fresh water on site to fill the water bottles at both the Regatta beach activities and the evening BBQ.

In addition, lawn chairs are always good to bring along, but please, NO DOGS.

  • Boat transportation from PLTN to the Regatta beach activities

As the Regatta is open to all citizens of the municipality, anyone requiring boat transportation from the PLTN marina to the Regatta beach must inform the municipality before Friday, August 4, by phone (819-425-8154) or email (communications@lac-tremblant-nord.qc.ca).

We would greatly appreciate if citizens who need boat transportation from PLTN to the Regatta beach be present at the marina on Saturday at 10:30 AM.

6 PM – BBQ AT THE PLTN MARINA

  • Following the beach activities, a BBQ provided by the municipality (hamburgers, hot dogs, vegetarian options and non-alcoholic beverages) will be served at the PLTN marina for the occasion;

During the BBQ, the winner of the Lac-Tremblant-Nord Volunteer Award will be announced by Council;

In addition, an information booth on the municipality’s protected area project and the various voluntary conservation options available to citizens on private land will be set up on site.

In closing, if you have any questions about the event, please do not hesitate to contact the municipal office by phone (819-425-8154) or by email (communications@lac-tremblant-nord.qc.ca).

We look forward to seeing you on August 5 !
